- Iron Mountain Animal Hospital accepts urgent care and emergency visits during regular business hours from both current and new clients. Call 906-774-5961 and we will assist you.
EMERGENCIES DURING THE WEEKENDS
- After hours care is available by appointment for our current clients during non-holiday weekends. We offer this care from Friday at 5pm until Sunday at 6pm.
- When you have a pet health concern after normal business hours, we partner with VetTriage. VetTriage veterinarians are on standby 24 hours a day to assist. They will triage your pet and give you at-home care guidance, potentially allowing you to avoid an after-hours visit at an emergency center. If they determine hospital care is necessary, they will help coordinate your visit to either our clinic or the nearest emergency services. VetTriage collects a $50 fee for this service at the start of the consult. - VetTriage (see above) is also available on weekday nights to help triage your pet and help you determine if your pet is having an emergency that needs to be addressed that evening, or if it could wait until you can get in with your regular vet.

- Due to the extreme strain the veterinary industry is under, please CALL AHEAD to any potential emergency facility before heading that way to ensure they will be able to take on your pet.
