Dr. Andrea Wodzinski

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Andrea Wodzinski grew up just outside Chicago where she was raised with a small zoo of animals including dogs, cats, small mammals, parrots, and turtles. She graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and fell in love with the Upper Peninsula during this time. In 2016, she graduated from Michigan State University with her veterinary degree.  In June 2016, she joined the Iron Mountain Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian.

Dr. Wodzinski’s veterinary interests include clinical pathology, internal medicine, preventative and geriatric medicine, and behavior medicine. She is mainly a “small animal person” but has a special place in her heart for dairy cows and small ruminants.

Dr. Wodzinski lives with her just newly adopted golden retriever named Peanut, fish, and far too many houseplants. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys long distance running, cross country skiing, sewing, and video games.
