Dr. Ann Christensen

Dr. Ann Christensen, DVM - Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Christensen grew up in Iron River, MI. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. She is a 1984 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her veterinary degree she worked 2 years in a mixed animal practice in Ironwood, MI and 18 years in a small animal practice in Green Bay, WI. Dr. Christensen joined Iron Mountain Animal Hospital in 2007.

Dr. Christensen moved back to the Iron Mountain area to be closer to her family, parents and sisters. She and her husband Don have three grown daughters and six grandchildren. Her family pets include 2 cats, Little Man and Mrs., and her dog Tyson. Dr. Christensen's interests outside of work are gardening, walking, biking, and snowshoeing. She is active in her lake association and church activities.
